She assists clients to access and recognize these special gifts when addressing challenges such as career discernment and focus; issues of emotional, psychological and spiritual growth; relationships; immune system illnesses, such as cancer, candidiasis and environmental illness; physical manifestations of stress; questions of life direction and meaning; and women's changing roles in today's world. Drawing from a variety of disciplines, she incorporates Gestalt and Jungian approaches, dreamwork, art, active imagination, relaxation techniques, meditation and Therapeutic Touch as methods of healing and nurturing within the counseling relationship. Barbara is a Certified Professional Holistic Counselor.
